IDBI( Industrial Development Bank of India) is an Indian government owned financial service company. It’s headquarter’s is situated in Mumbai. It was established in 1964 to provide credit and other facilities for the development of banking sector in India. It is currently 10th largest development bank in the world in terms of reach, with 3000 ATMs, 1746 branches, including one overseas branch at Dubai, and 1285 centers, including two overseas centers at Singapore & Beijing. It is one of 27 commercial banks owned by the Government of India. The current M.D and C.E.O of IDBI bank is Mr. Kishor Kharat. The bank had 15,465 employees, out of which 197 were employees with disabilities. The average age of employees working in the department is 30 years of age. The bank has total business of INR 25.64 crores per employee and net profit of INR 12.17 lakhs per . IDBI bank all shares and debentures are listed on Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange of India. Government of India holds 72% of shares in this bank. The bank helps all the emerging Industries by giving them different types of loan and other schemes.
