ITBP 2016 HC/Min Written Exam Date ASI Steno & Admit Card


The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has relesed an Employment Notification in the month of September 2015 regarding the recruitment of 10 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) and 148 posts of Head Constable (Ministerial).   Many Job willing Eligible Candidates have came through this Notification and applied for the recruited post.  For the recruitment process Candidates have to appear for Height Bar, Race,Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Examination and Skill Test.  The Physical Standard Test for ASI/ Steno & HC/ Min was held in the month of December, 2015 & January, 2016.  The date of written examination was 20/03/2016.  But ITBP has released a Notification recently regarding the change of the date of written examination.  Now the written examination is going to be held on 26/06/2016.  Candidates are informed that they can  download their Admit Card/Hall Ticket from the Official Website of ITBP i.e www.itbpolice.nic.in .  No Admit Card or Hall Ticket will reach to the home of Candidates by post.  We have furnished all the details of ITBP HC/ASI Steno Admit Card 2016 in the post below.

Date of Written Exam  :  Has been postponed to 26/06/2016  (Earlier it was 20/03/2016)

For ASI/Steno

a) Height Bar Test
b) Race
c) Checking of documents
d) Physical Standard Test (PST)

For Head Constable (Ministerial)

I)  Written Examination for ASI/Steno (Direct Entry and Departmental candidates):- (100 Marks)

The candidates qualified in PST shall be required to pass the written examination (Objective type-OMR Based) consisting of the following :-  (Time – 3 Hrs)

Note :-
i) Qualifying marks shall be 35% for General Candidates & Ex-Servicemen and 33% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes /Other Backward Class in the written examination. Only 20 times qualified candidates (Direct Entry) in Written Test will be called for Skill Test on the basis of merit in each category.
ii) The candidates shall be required to answer in OMR sheet which will be signed both by the candidate and invigilator

Skill Test (20 Marks) The candidates, who qualify the above written examination, shall be required to appear in the skill test i.e. shorthand and typing given as under:-
i) Dictation – 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute (English or Hindi).
ii) Transcription- 50 minutes in English on computer; or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.

Merit List :   Merit lists in each category namely, Gen, SC, ST, OBC and Ex-servicemen shall be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination & skill test.

 

II)  Written Test for Head Constable/Combatant Ministerial (Direct Entry & Departmental) :- (100 Marks)

The candidates qualified in PST shall be required to pass the written examination (Objective type-OMR Based) consisting of the following :-  (Time – 3 Hrs)

Note :-

Skill Test :-
i) The candidates, who qualify the written exam, will be required to appear in a skill test i.e. typing test on computer as under:- (Minimum speed of 35 words per minute in English typing or minimum speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi typing only on computer. Time allowed- 10 minutes) (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5
Key depressions for each word).
ii) English typing will be conducted in ‘Times New Roman’ Font only and Hindi typing will be conducted either on Remington or Inscript Keyboard in Unicode encoding compliant Font ‘Mangal’ only.

Merit List : Merit lists in each category namely, Gen, SC, ST, OBC and Ex-servicemen will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination as per para-11 (2) c) and qualifying of Skill Test.

Detailed Medical Examination  :  Candidates shortlisted in order of merit in each category will be put through Detailed Medical Examination to assess their fitness as per medical policy of MHA.

How to download ITBP HC/ASI Steno Admit Card 2016

  1.  Log on to website www.itbpolice.nic.in .
  2. Click on link Download ITBP HC/Min ASI Steno Exam Admit Card 2016.
  3. Enter your personal details sked on the page i.e. Application Number, Dae of Birth etc.
  4. Click on submit button to proceed.
  5. Your ITBP HC?ASI Steno Admit Card will appear on the screen.
  6. Check all the details such as exam centres.
  7. Save and download the Admit Card.
  8. Take printout of your Admit Card.
