The Urban Co-operative Bank Limited, Cuttack started functioning on 14th September, 1981 with its Head Office at Tinikonia Bagicha, Buxi Bazar, Cuttack-753001 after being registered under Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Orissa, Bhubaneswar. This Bank initially started with share capital of Rs.2,33,OOO.OO collected from 772 Members and has been adorning the status of the largest urban cooperative bank of the state as well as of the eastern region for decades . Since inception, it. has been functioning with an aim for providing financial assistance to the urban poor for their upliftment through its micro finance activities. It has expanded its business through its sixteen branches and two extension counters spread over urban areas of undivided Cuttack district except Kendrapada and Paradeep. It has also proposed to seek the permission for expanding its area of operation to all the urban areas of the state before the registering as well as licensing authorities.

Assistant Manager : 6,27,042 per annum
Bank Manager : 8,35,086 per annum
SELECTION PROCESS :–
Clerks & Officers : The selection will be through the following process mentioned below –
- Online aptitude test
- Group discussion
Aptitude Test : The Aptitude test will be be of 2 hrs and will be administered online. The test will assess the proficiency of candidates in the areas of :
1. Logic and Reasoning Skills
2. English Language Skills
3. Quantitative/ Numerical ability
4. Personal Assessment
Group Discussion & Personal Interview :
Based on case studies, the group discussions are mainly conducted to judge applicants on their analytical thinking, approach to hypothetical building around business situations and the ability to break down complex problems to arrive at simple solutions. All applicants are expected to go through the interview round, which is the final step in the selection process.
Note : Only the short-listed candidates will be called for aptitude test/ group discussion/ interview. Short-listing will be done by taking into consideration the various attributes like qualifications/ additional qualifications, experience etc.

Candidates can join these Coaching centres for their preparation for bank exams. It is advisable to do the basics first. These can be done from class 10 books. HOW TO APPLY :-
Application in own handwriting with complete bio data along with photocopies of relevant academic & experience certificates and two recent passport size photographs (one of them self signed & affixed) should reach the bank Head Office (whichever is mentioned will be in the notification)
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :–
(i) Valid proof of identity such as PAN card/Passport/Voter ID Card/Driving License/Permanent Identity Card issued by the present employer or any other valid proof of identification with a photograph should be produced at the time of aptitude test/ Group Discussion/ interview to be conducted by the Bank.
(ii) Candidates have to produce all the requisite certificates/documents in original with Xerox copies in proof of their eligibility for verification at the time of Group Discussion/Interview. Failure to do so shall lead to disqualification of the candidate.
(iii) Selected candidates are liable to be transferred anywhere in India or abroad as per the administrative requirements & discretion of the Bank.
